1. Open gas tap (yellow button)

2. Turn large round knob so that the star on the knob next to the
dash comes

3. Press and hold large round button

4. Press small round button (= ignition)

5. If all goes well, the pilot light will now light up; if not, you need to do point 4
repeat

6. When the pilot light is lit, press the large round button for a few more seconds
Hold on; then you can release the big round button

7. Then turn the large round knob to the desired heat setting (1,
2, 3 etc. up to a maximum of 7)

8. After use, you can turn the large round knob back to the pilot light
(The asterisk on the button is next to the dash again). Or you can use the large
rotate round button back to the 'off' position (the white round on the button
is then next to the dash).

N.B. If you look closely through the window you can see the pilot light at point 4
see burning, but this is tricky because you have to look through the window at exactly the right spot.
(If it is silent, you can also hear the flame starting to burn)

Also inconvenient is that you have to sit on the floor because the buttons on the
stove sit low.
